KOROR (Palau Horizon) – THE Bureau of Public Safety is still investigating the cases of robbery and attempted robbery and assault which transpired on Sunday, last week.
On May 23 at around1:20 p.m. cashier of Elilai Store in Dngeronger hamlet, Koror State reported and called for police assistance after two unidentified suspects wearingblack scarves on their head entered the store and attempted to rob the establishment.
Based on her police statement, Flor de Savio said the two male suspects armed with knives entered the Elilai Store andthreatened the cashierto give themmoney. When the victim refused, suspects fled the area.
Twenty five minutes later, at around 1:45 p.m.,another robbery incident was reported in Chi Yuen Massage Parlor in Ikelau, Koror.
Police investigation showed, two males suspects who were also wearingblack scarves on their head armed with knives entered the building and robbed one Chinese national.
The victim identified as Juan Zhang. Suspects threatened the victim and took her bag that contains wrist watch worth, $175; four airtime, worth $40; $80 cash and victim’s diver license and working permit.
Suspects then immediately left the area.
Police has yet to determine if the same suspects were involved in the consecutiverobbery incidents.
