Milad ‘L Dil’s GFT for Ngeremlengui and GBH

This year, organization, on November 16, gave its 5th Gifts For Teaching (GFT) to three schools – George B. Harris (GBH) and Ngeremlengui elementary schools and Ngeremlengui Head Start Center.

Milad ‘L Dil’s GFT is a collection of educational/school supplies that members of the organization fundraise and solicit for each year to give to 2 or more schools as part of the organizations program to support and promote teaching and learning.

Milad ‘L Dil, since its establishment in 1992,  has actively been involved in numerous activities that promote the welfare of the people of Palau – including sponsorship in Miss Palau Beauty Pageant and humanitarian drives.

The organization has, for many years, given GFTs to a number schools in Palau.  All of the items in the GFTs are made possible through generous support of businesses, organizations, agencies and individuals.

Members of Milad ‘L Dil extend their sincere appreciation to everyone who made this year’s GFT possible.  In particular, they are grateful for Surangel & Sons Company, Seabees (CAT 09-05), Carp Restaurant, Gail Yamorol, PCC, KR-FM & Rondizzle, Jezerrae, WCTC Ben Franklin, and every person who pitched into the Huli Huli BBQ fundraiser.

The teachers and students at both Ngeremlengui and GBH elementary schools and Ngeremlengui Head Start Center were grateful to have received the GFTs.

Members of Milad ‘L Dil were entertained and treated to a wonderful lunch that were prepared as tokens of appreciation by Ngeremlengui Head Start students and their parents.
