The victim was identified as Gabriel Augusto.
According to the police investigation, the three juvenile suspects reportedly assaulted Augusto while the latter was walking near his residence at the San Jose Street in Idid.
Report said, one of the suspects struck Augusto twice at the back using a machete. While the other one used a baseball bat and hit the victim’s right leg. Another suspect used old hickory knife and struck Augusto hitting his back.
The suspects not contented, t picked up a stone and threw it at the victim hitting his leg. Suspects then fled the scene immediately.
Victim, meanwhile, managed to run away to his house and called the police for assistance.
Police is now conducting further investigation.
In another news, a juvenile was also complained at the Bureau of Public Safety for stealing an item at the RJ Store in Idid hamlet.
Based on the police report, at around 9:21 p.m. on Saturday, last week, a male caller reported to the police that a young boy together with other kids entered the store . The suspect was reportedly seen stealing the toy gun and put it inside his clothes. The juvenile, then immediately fled the area.
The case is pending for further investigation.
