Monthly gas allowance of community volunteer renewed for 3rd time

JEMCO Ltd., which operates the CMG San Jose Mobil Gas Station, has renewed the $100 monthly gasoline allowance it provides to community volunteer Max Aguon for the third consecutive year.

In a letter to Aguon dated Jan. 5, 2023, JEMCO operators Edward and Jovita Flores said: “Given your recent efforts and the hard work you have demonstrated throughout the year to clean up our environment, JEMCO Ltd. is pleased to continue our donation of $100 monthly gas allowance to alleviate expenses incurred by you. This is a remarkable endeavor that you committed to the CNMI and its people.”

Aguon on Monday thanked the JEMCO operators “from the bottom of my heart — Si Yuus Maa’se.”

He vowed to continue his cleanup activities around the island.

Aguon has received many commendations and awards for his cleanup activities that also help promote environmental awareness in the community.

Besides the Mobil station in San Jose, JEMCO also operates the Kagman and Chalan Kiya Mobil stations.
