Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon said bystanders managed to get the identity of the driver who managed to flee the scene.
He said police are now tracking down the suspect.The incident was reported to the police on June 2 at 6:55 pm in front of Mobil Topside.Initial investigation disclosed that the suspect’s vehicle was speeding towards Topside and was passing through several vehicles.The suspect’s vehicle attempted to pass another vehicle when it collided with an incoming vehicle that was traveling on the opposite direction.Police determined that after the collision, the suspect’s car swirled and collided to a truck parked in a nearby establishment.The suspect fled at once.The driver of the other car complained of headache and was brought later to the hospital.Meanwhile a woman also called police on June 3 at 6:05 pm and reported that someone ran through her garden and destroyed her plants at her residence in Ngerbeched.The report was treated as malicious mischief incident.
