Palacios, Apatang discuss stronger ties with Guam governor

INDEPENDENT gubernatorial candidate Lt. Gov. Arnold I. Palacios and his running mate, Saipan Mayor David M. Apatang, on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to Guam Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero.

Joined by Palacios’ wife, Wella, the independent gubernatorial tandem discussed ways to further strengthen the ties between the CNMI and Guam.

Palacios and Apatang also thanked Leon Guerrero for the “Spirit of Hafa Adai and Inafa’ maolek” that she and her administration accorded to the CNMI residents who live, work or study in Guam, especially since the start of the global Covid-19 pandemic two years ago.

While on Guam, Palacios and Apatang also met with former Guam Gov. Felix Camacho and CNMI voters living on Guam.

Arnold-Dave 2022 campaign chairman, former Speaker Oscar M. Babauta, said he, on behalf of Palacios and Apatang and the other candidates of the AD 2022 slate, would like to express their deepest gratitude to Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero and the members of her administration for taking time to meet with Palacios and Apatang.

Babauta said they are also grateful to the CNMI people who live in Guam for the “all out” support they have given to Palacios and Apatang as well as the other candidates of the AD 2022 independent team.
