World renowned documentary filmmaker Lin Sutherland is shooting a sustainable travel series with Palau as one of the 13 destinations in the world that brings awareness about sustainable travel.
This year, Palau will be showcased on Travel Wild, a travel adventure series with an eco focus.
Sutherland said she first fell in love with Palau 16 years ago and since then she has admired how Palauans was able to protect the environment and kept it beautiful.
Sutherland said the Palau episode will take viewers on the exploration of the country’s healthy marine eco-system, culture and history.
Sutherland said that the Palau episode will be shown by the end of the year or early months of 2011.
Sutherland is a documentary filmmaker who delves in underwater filming and photojournalism.
She has five documentaries under her belt and has produced shows in Australia, Europe and South America.
