Altogether, over 120 students are expected to participate and organizers say that is one of the larger PCC graduations to date. A number of guests as well as family members of graduates will also be coming from off-island to attend the graduation. Former Guam Delegate to the US House of Representatives and current University of Guam President Dr. Robert Underwood is the graduation’s commencement speaker. Dr. Theresa Lally of San Diego State University who arrived earlier this week from California will confer the Bachelor of Arts degrees to the SDSU graduating students.
As for the breakdown of the graduates, PCC has a total of 110 graduates with 82 expected to march during this morning’s ceremony. All 15 Adult High School graduates will also attend, while the SDSU has confirmed that 23 of the 24 BA degree candidates will attend the ceremony. One student will receive a certificate of completion from the Ministry of Health Counseling Program.
