Gensler in an interview said that his team has completed 327 feet and they have started another 93 feet. However, due to time constraints the next team will continue the project.
As of this time, Gensler said he did not set a new schedule to resume the fence project since they are prioritizing the construction of Ngardmau Fire sub- station . The substation is 20 percent complete.
The PHS fence project was started by the US Navy team and it was continued by the current US Army Team. The next team is expected to finish the project.
The school fence is 1,759 feet wide and 6 feet tall.
The US Army Team is set to end their six months tour of duty on August 20.
Aside from the fence project and Fire sub-station, the team also completed the construction and improvement of Palau Firing Range in Aimeliik State.
May 7 was the completion date of the project.
The US Army team, constructed two additional firing lane to serve as a training exercise for the police as part of their Firearms Qualification Training.
Meanwhile, the other potential projects of US Army team coming up are the Ngiwal Access Road, Ngardmau Road Project, Pelileu War Memorials among others.
