The Micronesian Games Organizing Committee has been mandated by Presidential Directive No. 09-05 to coordinate efforts with all ministries, government and semi-government agencies to ensure that Palau’s hosting responsibilities are organized properly, well prepared and will meet the requirements of the Micronesian Games Council Charter.
These agencies were directed to have at least one vehicle available during the Micronesian Games starting on July 30 until August 12 to be used by Palau National Olympic Committee (PNOC) for the preparation for and hosting of the Micronesian Games.
The employees of these agencies will provide manual, technical and volunteer support for the Micronesian Games when needed upon request by PNOC.
To ensure that their official responsibilities are not jeopardized due to their participation in the Micronesian Games, employees’ requests for administrative leave will be will reviewed and considered for approval by Micronesian Games Organizing Committee and Team Palau organizing committee.
