Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon said that Maverick Loanis, 20; Junior Anastacio, 19; Angelino Riund, 47; Seths Mongami, Edison Ramon, 30; Jason Ramon, 26 and one juvenile were arrested on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for various offenses.
Aguon said Loanis was arrested on Friday night after a concerned citizen called police and reported a disturbance at the Franco store in Dngeronger.Loanis was arrested for disturbing the peace and illegal consumption of alcohol.Anastacio was apprehended on Saturday morning when a police officer caught him throwing rocks to passing vehicles by the Imperial Bar.Riund was arrested for assaulting another person on Saturday morning in Iyebukel.Mongami was arrested for drunk and disorderly conduct for causing disturbance at Palau hotel in Ikelau on Saturday afternoon.Edison Ramon was arrested for driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and in reckless manner when his vehicle hit another vehicle while loading a gasoline in Meketii Sunday night.Jason Ramon was arrested for causing disturbance at the C & B store in Airai Sunday afternoon. The juvenile was arrested for stealing money from a parked vehicle in Ngerias.Aguon said a woman called police on Sunday morning and reported that someone went to her vehicle which was parked outside her residence in Ngerias and stole her lost change amounting to $20.
