As top finishers in their age groups in a tournament in Saipan, Ayana Rengiil and Kaito Fuji along with 16 junior tennis players from Guam, Saipan, and the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) will be heading out to Fiji from July 23 – August 8 to play in the Pacific Oceania Junior Championship (POJC).
The two youngsters have shown great and remarkable talent and skills in the game of tennis when they posted wins at the NPQ against their respective age brackets. Kaito Fuji won 5 matches and lost only twice in the challenge, while little sensation Ayana Rengiil was victorious in alos 5 matches and impressively lost only once.As a result, the tennis federation has pinpointed that both young tennis sensation will stand for the nation’s flag come 23rd of July in Fiji.
Other notable tennis players for team Palau were; Marica Otto and Aibigail Gbewnyo under the 18 and under girls bracket and Spis Senior who is played for 12 and under boys division.
