Remaining P-EBT summer benefits to be issued on Dec. 21-22

THE Nutrition Assistance Program said as of Thursday, 5,951 households had been issued Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer, or P-EBT, summer benefits.

The summer benefits are an extension of the P-EBT for the 2020 to 2021 school year.

552 households have yet to receive their benefits, however.

These remaining households will have their benefits issued via drive-thru from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, and Wednesday, December 22.

These include approved applications to households who submitted applications during the open period from October 18, 2021 to November 30, 2021.

Households who will be unable to pick up their benefits next week via drive-thru may pick up their benefits via walk-in at the NAP Benefit Issuance Office in As Lito.

Summer benefits will be available for pick up through March 31, 2022.

Application numbers that have been approved and whose summer benefits are available for pick up are posted in the NAP website: http://cnminap.gov.mp

In all, the NAP has processed P-EBT benefits for 6,503 households consisting of 12,685 students in the Commonwealth.

P-EBT is a program that provides NAP benefits to school-aged children who lost access to school meals because their school was closed or operating with reduced in-person attendance due to Covid-19 covering for school year 2020-21.

For more information about the summer P-EBT program, call the P-EBT contact center at (670) 287-3063/4/5.
