Root Crops Grower Association to meet today

Andy Chiang , leader of the Taiwan Technical Mission said that can already elect its officers according to its by laws.In the meeting, the draft of the constitution and by laws of the proposed association will be presented to them for comments and suggestions during the meeting.“The main objective of establishing the root crops growers association is to improve the production of the root crops to meet the increasing demand of fresh and processed products,” Chiang said.He added that the association is also encouraging and promoting the betterment of the conditions of those engaged in farming root crops as well as promote trading between its grower members and the first handler or processor of their root crop products,Chiang added that the other objectives in establishing an association is to provide a medium for the building of acquaintances and the exchange of experience among those interested  in root crop growing, handling and related fields and to promote uniform and consistent produce products, labeling, quality and pricing.
