THE Saipan Centennial Lions Club is part of the Lions Club International under District 204, Region 2.

As Lions, club members aim to serve the community and achieve their purpose of being global leaders in community and humanitarian services.

Lions clubs are groups  of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs.

Recently, the SCLC repainted the Civic Center basketball court.

The Lions want to foster health awareness in the community, and encourage the youth to be involved in outdoor activities rather than spend  time  on electronic gadgets that may negatively affect their well-being.

“A special thanks to Mr. Rey Sablan, the acting director of Parks & Recreation who granted our club’s request to repaint and repair the  basketball  court at Civic Center,” the SCLC said.
