Saipan Community School open house set for Aug. 18

(SCS) — Saipan Community School is hosting its annual open house and parent orientation night on Aug. 18, 2022 at 6 p.m. Parents and students are encouraged to attend as well as members of the community interested in learning more about our school.

The open house will include a brief introduction to the SCS teachers, staff, and administration.  Students and parents should meet in the church at 6 p.m. for a general assembly before proceeding to individual classrooms. Teachers will be available in their classrooms to discuss goals for the school year, curriculum, and co-curricular activities such as Math Court, STEM Fair, National Junior Speech and Debate, Spelling Bee, PGFC, and Model United Nations as well as upcoming athletic events.

Saipan Community School is a private Christian school that was initially established in 1976 as the first Protestant school on island. SCS offers a U.S. curriculum taught in English and has been consistently recognized over the years for developing academic excellence and character in a family friendly atmosphere.
