SCA to host temporary animal clinic

BARKING with excitement and meowing with anticipation, the animal lovers of Saipan are in for a treat! Saipan Cares for Animals has announced the opening of a temporary animal clinic that promises to be a tail-wagging event for pets and their owners. The clinic, set to take place on Sunday, 7/30/2023, from 10 am to 4 pm in their clinic in Middle Road, will be staffed by dedicated and experienced volunteers at the SCA facility. Paws-itively essential clinic service will be provided for now due to lack of onsite veterinarian. Thereby no surgeries can be performed.

With every wag of a tail and every purr of contentment, the clinic will offer a wide array of essential services to address the diverse needs of our furry companions. Cat vaccinations will be administered, assuring that our feline friends remain shielded from potential health hazards. While the enthusiastic canines may have to wait a little longer for their turn, the clinic pledges that their needs will soon be catered to with equal diligence and care.

The high demand for Bravecto has led to numerous inquiries, prompting SCA to swiftly order this sought-after product under the guidance of licensed veterinarians. If the shipment arrives by Saturday, it will be up for grabs during clinic hours, bringing much-needed relief to many devoted pet parents. For those who may need to wait, the clinic kindly requests their contact information and dog details, ensuring they receive an enthusiastic notification as soon as the Bravecto supply is replenished. In the spirit of fairness and compassion, the clinic will adhere to a first-come, first-served approach, ensuring that all attendees have an equal chance to benefit from the available services.

The generosity of the community plays a vital role in making this event. Miho Evangelista of SCA Tinian will be coming together with Yumi Brundidge, Happy Tail Grooming service owner. They have also compiled a list of essential donations that will contribute to the seamless operation of the clinic. From monetary contributions for supplies and shipping to practical items such as paper towels, unscented baby wipes, gloves (nitrile or latex), Xerox copy papers, bandages, gauze, surgical tapes, and drinking water, every contribution is welcomed with open arms and immense gratitude. It’s a heartening reminder that any style of donation, big or small, can go a long way in supporting the well-being of these precious animals.

For more information, please contact them on WhatsApp at 6707832548. The clinic organizers encourage everyone to understand that while calling may not be feasible during the event, rest assured that WhatsApp messages will be handled with the utmost care and efficiency.
