Taro hits a $50 homerun for the K-Angels

The K-Angels victorious pot clanging, high-pitched cheers, and synchronized waves were highlighted when Rory Taro hit a homerun that hit Joan H. Demei’s billboard sign – a $50 homerun.Supporters of Joan H. Demei had erected the sign beyond the leftfield homerun line at the beginning of ECSL season.  An announcement was put out to all teams that any player who hits – a homerun – the sign during a game would automatically earn $50.To date, Taro becomes only the third person to hit the sign.  Taro now joins Reagan Sidoi (Ngchesar/Oldiais) and Dexter Sadang (Ngaraard’s N-5 Reds) as recipients of Demei’s $50 deal; however, Taro is the first masters’ division player to do so.Taro’s homerun boosted the K-Angels (masters) to a win over the Blue Sharks (25-18).  The K-Angels open division team was also victorious over the younger Blue Sharks (15-10).  Taro plays for both of the K-Angels’ teams.  He is likely to be the K-Angels most invaluable player and he is $50 richer.
