HAGÅTÑA (The Guam Daily Post) — Lt. Gov. Josh Tenorio has confirmed that he intends to run for governor come the 2026 election. In a statement provided to the Guam Daily Post, the lieutenant governor said that he informed family, friends and colleagues of his intention in a gathering over the weekend.
“I took the opportunity to confirm with them my intent to lead our island into the future and ask for their blessing,” Tenorio said.
Tenorio is still looking for a running mate, as he added that he will continue to consult with supporters as he makes future decisions, such as the selection of a running mate.
“For now, I will be focused on my responsibilities and work as the lieutenant governor,” Tenorio said
