John Mark Etumai, 48 and Gaspar Wachi, 20, were arrested on March 29.
Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon said that Etumai was arrested after police spotted him driving his vehicle in a reckless manner.Wachi was apprehended after police responded to a complaint of drinking in a public place in Idid.Etumai was spotted driving his vehicle around 2 am on Sunday and was pulled over by the police.The vehicle was heading towards M-Dock and was passing several vehicles recklessly, the police report alleged.Etumai was subjected for sobriety test where he failed the test.During the questioning, police also found marijuana stick in Etumai’s possession.He was arrested for DUI and possession of a controlled substance.Wachi and his companion Mark Rengiil, 42, were arrested for drinking in a public place.The incident was reported to the police on Sunday at 10 pm in Idid.Wachi was also found in possession of a marijuana stick, Aguon said.Meanwhile, eight other persons were also arrested over the weekend for DUI, disturbances, drunk disorderly conducts and illegal consumption of alcohol.Arrested were Kenny Sumang, 43; Junior Theodore, 45; Jonathan Fanai, 22; Cameron Techemang, 19; Tarimel Ngiraremeang, 22; Joshua Ngirngebedangel Jr., 23; Robin Tuchelliuar, 42 and Jewett Blaluk, 20.
