
(NYMWPS) — The National Youth Movement for the West Philippine Sea is a transglobal and peaceful organization that advocates for the preservation of Philippines’ sovereignty and territorial integrity with the following goals:
To create public awareness and conduct educational activities on West Philippine Sea issues; to instill patriotism among the youth and all Filipinos as well as to rekindle their spirit of nationalism; and to protect the rights and welfare of the guardians and protectors of our West Philippine Sea such as our Scarborough Shoal fishermen in Masinloc, Zambales and neighboring towns as well as in Bataan and Pangasinan; our brave military troops at BRP Sierra Madre in Ayungin Shoal; and the brave men, women and children in Pag-asa Island, Kalayaan, Palawan and military troops in the rest of the Kalayaan Group of Islands.
Members of the public are invited to support a virtual benefit concert titled, “A Tribute to Our West Philippine Sea Heroes,” to benefit the Filipino heroes and guardians of our West Philippine Sea.

The hosts are Dr. Celia Lamkin, the CNMI-Guam based founder and global chair of the National Youth Movement for West Philippine Sea, and JMartin of @The Hafa Adai Show.
The special guest speaker is attorney Loida Nicolas Lewis, philanthropist, businesswoman, prominent Filipino-American civic and global leader, motivational speaker, lawyer and author.
NYMWPS intends to raise funds via the virtual concert to meet the following outreach goals:
1) For Kalayaan Municipality:
• Pag-asa Integrated School — School supplies for students and teachers, educational tools and sustaining the feeding program of the students.
• Pag-asa Health Center
Donation of new medical equipment such as blood glucose meters and strips, wheelchairs, stretchers and other medical supplies and medicines.
• For Kalayaan fishermen: fishing tools, food packages, rice, over-the-counter medicines and safety gadgets.
2) For the military men at BRP Sierra Madre in Ayungin Shoal:
Food packages, rice, canned goods, personal hygiene kits, medicines, multi-vitamins and medical supplies.
3) For Scarborough Shoal fishermen in Masinloc, Zambales: Food packages, fishing tools, safety gadgets, rice, canned goods, medicines, personal hygiene kits, and medical supplies.
