VOTE for your favorite businesses in the Marianas and get a chance to win $100 or a staycation for two to Saipan, Tinian, or Rota.
The eight-week voting period for the Best of the Marianas is ongoing and ends on Feb. 15, 2023. The first raffle draw will be held Thursday, Dec. 29.
Five winners will be selected each week to win $100 cash and two grand prize winners will win a staycation for two to Saipan, Tinian or Rota. The grand prize will be raffled at the end of the voting period.
You can vote online (www.mvariety.com/best_of_the_marianas), or through printed ballots published in Variety on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week for the duration of the voting phase.
The Best of the Marianas is a program created by Marianas Variety in partnership with the Marianas Visitors Authority to promote and highlight the best businesses, places, food, and other establishments in the community.
“We invite everyone to vote for your favorite among the Best of the Marianas. This will ensure that we capture the true ‘Must Try/Must Visit’ food and drinks or places,” said Martin Duenas, MVA community projects division manager.
Duenas said the Best of the Marianas will also serve as a guide for local residents and tourists who want to know what the best places are to eat, visit and hang out.
“We are confident that the program will encourage customers and our tourists to visit the places nominated by community members. It is a way to promote the businesses and our islands,” he added.
Marianas Variety President Amier C. Younis said, “As one community, we must support each other. This holiday we want to give out prizes to community members who are actively participating in promoting our islands through the Best of the Marianas. Every vote is important.”
He added, “We congratulate all the nominees, and we encourage all of them to share this competition with their customers and have them vote for them during the voting period. We wish all of them the very best of luck!”
