Highway Engineer Kione Isechal told reporters that although there are four pumps at the treatment plant, three pumps are need to properly operate the plant.He said that Koror residents will be affected by the repair because the water supply will be turned off from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.Water meanwhile is open from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.He said normal water hours will resume as soon as the water pumps are in operational again.The last time that water hour was implemented is when the pumps leading to Ngerikiil River broke down.Isechal said it is still unknown why the pumps broke down.Isechal said that the aging pumps are now susceptible to breakdown.
