Bureau of Public Safety Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon said that the incident was reported to the police at 5:20 am on Saturday.
According to Aguon, the incident happened in front of Bank Pacific.The vehicle was traversing on the road when it run off the road and hit a retaining wall.The driver fled the scene leaving his companion, who was transported to the hospital for her minor injuries.According to Aguon, another single car accident occurred on Saturday morning but it happened in Airai.The incident was reported to the police at 5 am.Police responded to the scene and determined that the vehicle had run off the roadway but the driver had also fled the scene.
