The graduating class has invited Hilary Tacheliol to be the main speaker and Martin Runyol as the special guest speaker.
The school had some activities and events lined up before the graduation.
The graduates were transported to the Catholic Church in Gagil municipality where the students had their retreat to reflect back on their lives and think of what will become of them in as they move on into the future.
The students returned home following their class retreat with Fr. Eddie Anthony SJ, the priest assigned to the St. Joseph Parish.
Despite the school’s closure for classes, students in grades 1 to 7 have already returned to pick up their awards from their teachers in their classrooms.
St. Mary school has also been registering for returning students and other transferring students.
Since all the lower class students have received their awards the only students that will be receiving their awards on the graduation day are the graduates, the 8th graders.
The school scheduled a Mass for the graduates at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 30, with the parents and other guardians of St. Mary School.
A farewell dinner reception to be sponsored by the 7th graders and their parents followed the Mass.
