THE 2nd Annual Wahoo in the Marianas will be held on March 6, 2021.
The date was set by the Tasi to Table board of directors led by Cecelio Raikuilipiy in a meeting on Jan. 20, 2021. The board likewise approved the budget for the event.

Last year’s inaugural tournament was a success with 52 registered boaters, so there was no doubt that a similar event will be held this year.
Anglers will battle for the top three places for catching the heaviest Wahoo.
With the help of sponsors Mobil Oil Marianas and IT&E, Tasi to Table or TTT is confident that this year’s tournament will be bigger than ever.
TTT will “engage its participating students from each school giving them an opportunity to see what it takes to host a tournament of this magnitude,” TTT president Gene Weaver said in the group’s latest newsletter.
He said the students and their advisors are now “gearing up for the planning and execution of the tournament.”
Wahoo in the Marianas is a fishing tournament organized by students from Saipan Southern High School, Marianas High School, Da’ok Academy and Kagman High School.
The 2019 title holder was The Marianas of Jess Muna and crew. They reeled in a monster Wahoo weighing 33.6 lbs while Sea Infection placed second with a catch weighing 32.7 lbs. In third place was Rainbow Runners with an 18.7 lbs catch.
