(NMC) — Northern Marianas College’s 16th Annual Foundation Golf Tournament, which was postponed last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, will be held on March 20, 2021 on the East Course of Laolao Bay Golf Resort.
The Northern Marianas College Foundation Open Golf Tournament will feature tens of thousands of dollars in prizes on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at LaoLao Bay Golf and Resort. Interested players can call 237-6780 or visit www.marianas.edu for more information.

Originally scheduled for 2019, the tournament was canceled because of the impact of Super Typhoon Yutu and was rescheduled for March 2020. However, the Covid-19 pandemic caused the tournament to be postponed again.
The tournament fee for this year’s golf open is $120. Payments can be made at the NMC Cashier at the college’s As Terlaje campus or at LaoLao Bay Golf Resort. A registration form along with information about the tournament can be found at www.marianas.edu/2021golftournament
There will be six separate flight categories: Championship, A, B, C, Seniors, and Ladies. There will be lots of great prizes and awards to players and sponsors. Less than 40 slots remain for the tournament, so interested players are encouraged to register early.
Individuals who were registered for the golf tournament last year do not need to register again. However, those who want to update their player information can email NMC Foundation coordinator Carla Sablan at [email protected]
The college is asking companies, organizations and individuals who are interested in sponsoring holes and/or for any in-kind or cash donation to help support the CNMI’s post-secondary institution. For more information on how to become a sponsor, call 237-6780.
