6JMS Seikid C won the Division C Bud Light Cup of the Saipan Electronic Darts Association League after gunning down the Safehouse Deez Darts 8-3 on Wednesday at Safehouse.
Seikid C entered the championship round with confidence, and it showed. Henry Sablan and DJ Taitano drew first blood by winning the first match of the Partners 501 Double In/Double Out against the Deez Darts’ Carlos Rivera and Ben “Flow” Flores.
Juan Pangelinan and EJ Cabrera added the second win for Seikid C by besting Joe Hofshneider and Vinson Deleon Guerrero.
Seikid C thrived individually as well. In the Singles Crazy Cricket game, Sablan, Taitano and “Pistol” Pete Lizama bagged three consecutive wins.
The Deez Darts’ Darion “The Derminator” Jon managed to break the Seikid C streak with a solo victory in the fourth match against Harry Nekaifes.
In the Partners 701 Open In/Double Out game, the Deez Darts’ Rivera and Flores, along with Jon and Hofshneider, notched a 2-win sweep to reduce the gap, 3-5.
But the Deez Darts’ rally was quickly shut down as Sablan, Taitano and Pangelinan bagged the final three wins needed in the Singles Half-It game to secure match victory, 8-3.
Before the finals, Seikid C defeated Tambayan Distorted 8-3 and Jonny’s Twisted Tribe 8-3.
For their part, the Deez Darts outscored Jonny’s Put It In 8-2 and edged Last Shot NoSkillsJustLuck 8-5.
