Bank of Saipan sponsors $20,000 hole-in-one at HANMI golf tourney

(HANMI) — A $20,000 hole-in-one prize sponsored by Bank of Saipan now awaits a lucky winner at the 20th Annual HANMI Charity Classic Golf Tournament on Sept. 17, 2022, at LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort west course.

The prize was presented by Bank of Saipan President & CEO John Arroyo on July 22, 2022, at the bank branch in San Jose, Saipan.

“We extend a big thank you to Bank of Saipan for supporting our tournament this year with a fantastic $20,000 hole-in-one prize,” said HANMI Golf Tournament Committee Chairman Juko Ishikawa. “We’ve had hole-in-one winners before, and we hope someone will be lucky enough to walk away from hole #7 with this prize this year.”

The primary beneficiary of this year’s tournament is the Northern Marianas Technical Institute.

The early bird tournament fee is $120 and includes green fee and the awards luncheon. The fee increases to $140 after the early bird deadline of Friday, Sept. 3, at 5 p.m. For an additional $30 players may also compete for optional play prizes, including Longest Drive (Male and Female), Accurate Drive, Aggressive Drive, and four chances for Nearest to the Pin.  The tournament is open to the first 144 paid registrants.

Showtime is 6 a.m. and the tournament will start at 7 a.m.   The awards banquet will immediately follow the tournament at LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort.
