Businesses donate to Rotary Club golf tourney

JOETEN Motors, Triple J Motors, and IT&E donated hole-in-one prizes to the Rotary Club of Saipan’s fundraising golf tournament set for Saturday, Feb. 13, on the East Course of LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort.

The 2021 Kia Seltos has a 2.0L 4-Cylinder Engine with 147 HP, all-wheel drive with torque vectoring and center lock, an average of 29 miles per gallon for cities and highways, intelligent variable transmission, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

It also features an 8-inch touchscreen display with a dynamic parking guidance rear camera, smartphone integration, remote keyless entry, and dual-level cargo floor.

Triple J Motors, for its part, donated a 2020 Hyundai Venue SEL for hole #4.

The 2020 Hyundai Venue SEL has a 1.6L 4-Cylinder Engine with 98 HP, front-wheel drive, an average of 32 miles per gallon for cities and highways, automatic transmission with manual mode, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

As for IT&E, it donated $5,000 cash for hole #15.

Rotary Club of Saipan president-elect Sean Ficke, who is also the Triple J Motors general manager, said, “We’re very excited to have this tournament for the community and to give back. We’re going to have a wonderful banquet with lots of raffles, giveaway prizes, and everything, so we would love for everybody to come out and support the Rotary golf tournament.”

The event will raise funds for the club’s community projects, programs and activities.

Following the tournament, an awards banquet will be held in the dinner show area of Fiesta Resort & Spa from 1 to 5 p.m. The club will  be giving out cash prizes to the tournament winners.

The Low Gross cash prizes will be $500 for first place, $400 for second place, $300 for third place, $200 for fourth place, and $100 for fifth place.

Double Peoria cash prizes are $500 for first place, $400 for second place, $300 for third place, $200 for fourth place, and $100 for fifth place.

The two-person scramble format early bird registration is $110 per player.

The early bird registration deadline is today, Friday, Feb. 5.

Regular registration fees are $140 per player, $20 optional play, and $30 for banquet guests.
