ASIDE from the usual two-wheel dirt bikes that are seeing action in the Marianas Racing Association 2022 Points Race Series, the ATV classes have also hit the dirt course with Christian Camacho and Theresa Borja seizing the spotlight at Cow Town Raceway Park.
In the Big Boy ATV class, last year’s overall champion Christian Camacho claimed the top spot on Sunday.
Although there were only three racers, the challenge was still tough as the four-wheel machines created a sandstorm-like atmosphere that could obscure the competitors’ vision.
But Christian Camacho led the competition from start to finish and left the dust behind him. He finished first in both heats to secure a total of 50 points.
Henry Camacho finished second in heat 1, but fell short in heat 2 as he was edged by Rex Susulin. Both garnered 42 points, but Susulin was second overall because he finished ahead of Henry Camacho in heat 2.
Perfect run
In the smaller Mini ATV class, Theresa Borja claimed overall first place as she was simply unmatched in both heats for a perfect 50-point performance.
In overall second place was Kassidy Camacho who edged Franchesca Yumul in heat 2. Both collected a total of 42 points.
Kimason Cabrera was fourth overall with 36 points followed by Keoni Rosario in fifth place with 32 points.
Perfect score
In the Peewee ATV class, Keoni Rosario reigned supreme, scoring a perfect 50 points to finish overall first.
In second place was Rockson Cabrera with 44 points followed by Brooklynn Susulin with 40 points, Angel Ray Camacho with 36 points and Nakoa Torres with 32 points.
Christian Camacho sticks the landing during a Big Boy ATV race on Sunday at Cow Town Raceway Park.
