THE 9Eleven Garapan Chura Boyz A are second place overall in the A Division of the 2023 SEDA Bud Light Dart League after collecting their 58th win by beating the Spicy Thai Spartans A, 11-6, on Monday at the Spicy Thai Restaurant.
The Chura Boyz set the tone early thanks to the individual skills of Russ “Mr. Pogi” Cruz, Shane Pangelinan, and Coby “Smooth” Santos who opened the night with a 3-1 run in the Singles Regular Cricket match
As a team, they then pulled a two-win sweep in the Partners 701 Double In/Double Out match to further extend their lead, 5-1.
The Spartans finally snapped out of it in the Singles Half-It match with Vincent “Sang” Agulto and Dan Repeki splitting the games, 2-2.
However, they suffered a 0-2 loss in the Partners Crazy Cricket match with the Chura Boyz securing an early win.
Facing certain defeat, the Spartans kept their heads up as Agulto and Repeki gathered two wins in the third and final singles setup to claim the Team 1101 match and ease the pain before bowing down to the Chura Boyz who won, 11-6.
