THE CK Saints collected their second consecutive blowout victory by trouncing IT&E 122-47 in an open division game of the 2023 Saipan MagaLahi Eagles Club Invitational Basketball League on Tuesday at the Gualo Rai basketball court.

Constant pressure defense was the name of the game as the CK Saints quickly established dominance in the opening quarter, turning successful stops into easy fastbreak opportunities on the other end for a double-digit lead, 28-14.

Although IT&E managed to put up a fight, fatigue soon kicked in as they were held within single-digit productivity throughout the next two periods.

The CK Saints, for their part, continued their onslaught with Brad Palacios and Zack Tudela scoring a combined 24 points as their team enjoyed a 92-28 lead moving into the fourth and final quarter.

Despite the inevitable defeat, IT&E recorded their biggest offensive run as Rodjay Macaraig heated up with eight points even as Dom Blas and Luizi Reyes also delivered eight points each to lead the CK Saints to victory, 122-47.

Winner’s Group vs Priority Care

Living up to their name,  the Winner’s Group joined the winner’s circle by outplaying Priority Care, 87-71.

Priority Care seemed to have found their groove at the start as each player on the court contributed to their offensive run for a 22-19 advantage. But the momentum gradually shifted in Winner’s Group’s favor as Jeter Medina heated up in the second and third quarters, scoring 19 points alone to snatch the lead, 61-57.

Priority Care relied on Steve King and Matt Duenas, but failed to stop Medina, who was supported by Dhonald Roma’s 10 crucial points, allowing the Winner’s Group to run away with the win, 87-71.
