SAFEHOUSE Deez Darts and Last Shot Darty Deeds bested their respective opponents Tuesday in the Latte Stone “B” Division of the SEDA Bud Light Dart League.
Deez Darts are still the team to beat as they sit at the very top of the standings with 20 wins after defeating 6JMS Shaka, 9-6, at the 6JMS Sports Bar.
Deez Darts had a slow start while Shaka drew first blood with Ken San Nicolas, Stanley “Dragon” Kaneshi and Byron “Sweets” Kaneshi claiming three of the first games in the opening 301 Double In/Double Out match.
Shaka tried to maintain control after splitting the Partners Crazy Cricket and 501 Double In/Double Out matches, but they failed to keep up the pace individually as Deez Darts turned the tables with a 3-1 run in the Singles Regular Cricket match with Carlos Rivera, KC Yangilmau and Mark Castro in the spotlight to even the score, 6-6.
Deez Darts also swept the Partners Half-It match and claimed the final Team 1101 match to defeat Shaka, 9-6.
Winners, too
Last Shot Darty Deeds took down Jonny’s PU IN SAI, 9-6.
Darty Deeds established control early with a 3-1 run courtesy of Mark Funkugub, Nate Torres and Jesse Borja while Ryan Saures helped sweep the Partners Crazy Cricket for a comfortable 5-1 spread.
PU IN SAI fought back with two wins in the Partners 501 Double In/Double Out match, but Darty Deeds split the next two matches before claiming the final Team 1101 match to seal the deal, 9-6.
Joining the winner’s circle were Just Chillin’ Team Kalakas which took down LastShot NoSkillJustLuck, 8-7; and the 6JMS Champions who earned their first win against Tambayan Boys Kill 5, 9-6.
