FSM’s president throws first pitch for Washington Nationals

WASHINGTON, D.C. (FSM Information Services) — Following a series of meetings with U.S. government officials in Washington, D.C., Federated States of Micronesia President David W. Panuelo threw the first pitch for the Washington Nationals.

President Panuelo’s objectives while in the U.S. capital include substantive deepening of ties with the FSM’s enduring partner, the United States of America.

He will also meet with the U.S. special presidential envoy for Compact negotiations, Joseph Y. Yun.
