(Press Release) — The Northern Mariana Islands Basketball Federation is now accepting nominations for NMIBF board directors.
A nomination letter can be submitted through email with the following information: name of the person or organization making the nomination, and name of the nominee and his/her brief personal information.
Written nominations can also be submitted personally during the NMIBF annual general assembly on April 26 at 6 p.m. in the Northern Marianas Conference Room of the Oleai Sports Complex.
Nine NMIBF board members will be elected by club-members at the general assembly next week. Nominees must be present at the assembly.
The elected board members will either serve a two-year or four-year term. Their responsibilities include attending regular board meetings; leading or taking part in the formation of various committees; making policies; and participating in the activities of the federation.
