GRACE Christian Academy remains undefeated in the IT&E Interscholastic Girls Middle School Basketball League after leaving Tanapag Middle School in the dust.
The skill-level of the Eagles kept them afloat from start to finish as they repeatedly moved the ball and finished at the rim.
If she wasn’t the one scoring, Azriel Fatialofa used her vision and precision passes to find her teammates to complete the play.
Among the Tanapag Tatagas, only Trisa Eleisar could put up a shot while GCA led by Fatialofa was simply relentless en route to victory, 25-2.
HMS 2 vs DMS
Hopwood Middle School 2 joined the winner’s circle after defeating Dandan Middle School 11-8.
It was a nonstop battle between the two teams, but HMS 2 secured the decisive advantage through teamwork.
The Hilitais’ Kialeen Leemarvin sank three consecutive buckets while the Tottots could only deliver two points courtesy of Shaenna Yamada.
DMS eventually picked up the pace with Maylani Reyes and Dolores Sanchez contributing two points each but Leemarvin continued to deliver in the second half as her team outscored the Tottots to secure victory, 11-8.
In the other games, Hopwood Middle School 2 routed its sister team, Hopwood Middle School 1, 32-0, while the Dandan Tottots redeemed themselves by blanking Saipan Community School, 11-0.
