DON Hallmark and Bill Camacho are the September and October Ace of the Month winners, respectively, of the Marianas Golf Association which held tournaments at the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort and Coral Ocean Resort.
Last month, Don Hallmark secured the ace title by shooting a net score of 70.
It was a tough event as bogeys and double bogeys were committed by everyone. But Hallmark led the pack with a total of five pars and ended the day with a birdie on hole #18 for a gross total of 91. With a handicap of 21, his net score of 70 was enough to clinch the title.
In second place was Bill Camacho who scored a gross total of 98 which was reduced by a 24 handicap to a net score of 74.
In third place was Joe “Kamikaze” Camacho who shot a gross and net score of 76 with no handicap.
In the October Ace of the Month tournament, Bill Camacho was triumphant.
He performed steadily with five pars to end with a gross total of 92. With a 24 handicap, he finished first overall with a net score of 68.
In second place was Ned Norita who shot three birdies and three bogeys for a gross score of 72. Sporting a handicap of 3, his net score was 69.
In third place was Shine Tenorio with a net score of 70.
