After the two-day Nike Demo that was launched last week to help golfers achieve good scores with equipment custom made by NIKE, many golfers, young men, women, junior golfers, and some of the older gentlemen in the community competed in this two-day tournament full of fun, rewards, and surprises.
In the first day, the signal was sent to golfers to tee off at exactly 7:08 in the morning. It was delayed for a few minutes because some of the competitors were still checking in while the others were loading their golf carts for everything that they would need.
After the tee-off there were 9 holes to go through for both the east and west courses. There were many prizes that were offered for this epic tournament. Two-$50,000 for a hole in one on #7 on the West course or Hole # 11 on the East, a hip 2010 Kia Soul with a hole in one on West Course #13, a 2010 Toyota Yaris for a hole in one on West course hole #3, a Harley Davidson Motorcycle and $25,000 for a joint hole-in-one prize on hole #15 – East.
During the second day of TOC it rained really hard that players and fans alike though that the tournament would have to be postponed until the green was dry enough to play. But suddenly after the 20 minute delay, the sun finally showed its face and so the tournament continued forward as planned.
