Jacqueline Wonenberg, Clayton Kenty and Dennis Ngirongor Jr., all of Marianas High School were named the 18-and-under athletes of the year.
The Hopwood Junior High School had the 2009 athletes of year in the 14-and-under. They are Rachel Abrams and Brandon Philip.
In the 12-years-and-under, Gabrielle Race of Whispering Palms School and Joanne Reyes of Hopwood Junior High are the girl athletes of the year, while Angelo Jones of Saipan International School is the 2009 boy athlete of the year.
Lucy Park of Whispering Palms School and Juan Quitugua of Tanapag Elementary School are the athletes of the year in the 10-years-and-under.
Julia Ishikawa of SIS Anthony Deleon Guerrero of Dandan Elementary School bagged the same award for the eight-years-and-under.
Yvonne Bennett and Tyrone Omar bested the men and women athletes in the Open division.
Jack “Ketson” Kabiriel is the men’s roadrunner of the year, while Mamiko Berger is the women’s road runner of the year.
