Natibu suffered a six-run deficit after Chura’s Dave Camacho Sr. and Myron Sablan fired two-run home run a piece, and Pete Tomokane a solo home run in the bottom of the second inning.
Pete Tegeita delivered a two-run home run and Dave Kapileo hit a two RBI double to help Natibu come back in the top of the fourth.
The Natibu defenders defeated Chura quickly in the bottom of fourth, then, JR Suel rocketed a three-run home run and Ned Norita hit a solo HR to take the lead in the fifth inning.
After Stan Laniyo and Pete Tomokane’s solo home runs for Chura, Natibu was behind again by one run after a complete five innings.
Bruce Norita fixed the problem drastically with grand slam putting the lead back in the seventh inning.
However, the Chura sluggers tied the ballgame as Tomokane knocked-in a two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh to push the game further for an extra inning.
Suel’s RBI single secured the lead for Natibu but Chura’s Tyron Omar fired a run-scoring double for the second deadlock, hence, another extra inning.
With one out, Victor Sales and Carl Hocog singled. Norita drove in a run with single before he tried to steal second base and got thrown out. BJ Sablan hit an RBI single and Natibu put in three runs in the ninth to secure their win.
Natibu has not tasted loss since the league started, but has to face a couple of power house teams in the few weeks ahead.
Advance Xterminators 14, Hitz 13
Xterminators’ pitcher, John Cepeda struck out one in the top of the fourth to prevent the Hitz from stretching the lead further, then, Angel Reyes hit a grand slam in the next half of the said inning leading the rally to take the front seat and grabbed their second victory.
John Taitano and Poland Masaharu narrowed the gap in the bottom of the second by hitting two-run run home and a solo home run respectively.
Martin Omelau helped keep the Hitz strong by hitting a two-run home run in the third.
Masaharu led the fourth inning with a single before Sonny Sablan drove him in with a single as well, Cepeda had a base hit and Jeff Tomokane knocked-in an RBI single to zoom the Xterminators to a five-run advantage over the Hitz.
The Xterminators struggled in the next two innings, but defended the field strong enough to curb the Hitz’ surge to only three runs and the Xterminators ended their drought.
UR Balls 14, Blazers 10
Ben Cepeda singled and made his way to the home plate for the lone run in the top of the fourth inning, and the UR Balls tied the game, then, went ahead to beat the Blazers, 14-10.
Ron Aldan who had two strike outs in the third and fourth, struck out two more to help the UR Balls hold the Blazers scoreless in the next two innings.
Harlan Reyes hit a run-scoring single to take the lead in the top of the fifth inning and Oliver Secharmidal shot a two-run double in the sixth to strengthen their ground.
Josh Arriola and Marvin Kaipat added an RBI single apiece.
Freedom Air Flyers 17,Ramblers 2
Dennis Cruz led the bottom of the first with a solo home run, Stan Aldan drove-in two runs with a single and the Freedom Air Flyers never trailed leading to their win over the Ramblers.
Reno Celis added an RBI single in the first.
Cruz hit his second base hit—a run-scoring single before Mel Manahane hit a solo home run in the second inning.
Cruz doubled to cap perfect feat on the batting plate (3-for-3) before Mabel Ngiraikelau fired a solo home run.
Ray Kaipat added a run-scoring single and the Flyers secured the victory with Al Lizama having his third strike-out in the game.
