The colorful opening this weekend will be exciting as the parade of colors starts at exactly 11:00 a.m. were the most valuable player (MVP) of the season, Jay Naguit, be in charge of the Philippine flag racing and JV San Juan, 2008 finals MVP, will be taking care of the Palau flag. The occasion will also have the Ambassador of the Philippines giving the inspirational message and the president of the Palau Basketball Federation, Kazuki “Topps” Sungino as guest speakers. In addition, the presentation of the new sets of officers and 2009 FBA Committees and Advisers.
To add more attractions to the glamorous 2009 FBA opening, there will be dance performances coming from ATT- dancers, the Imperial girl Dancers, and D’ Maskuladas. And at the end of the presentation of teams and its members, results of the best in uniforms and best in muse will be announced and be awarded to the winning teams.After the awarding, each team will draw lots to determine their numbering for the schedule of games and whoever gets the numbers from 1 to 4 will be playing the two games that were reserved for fans to cheer and watch on that same afternoon.Three Games are played every Sunday afternoon in which the first game starts at exactly 11:00 p.m. The 2009 Filipino Basketball League is supervised by the Palau Basketball Federation and is sponsored by PMIC, CTSI-Logistics, J.Trading/ATT, Surangel and Sons, Ilocandia Association, Ilonggo Association, Western Union.
