Konflikt’s Elmer Esdrelon garnered a three pointer shot and received a quick inbound pass across the court for an all-alone shot to mark five points to grab a shaky one point lead over the Sonics, 18-17.
Free-throw shots saved preserved team Konflikt’s lead in the second quarter. Budz Camacho shot a jumper and was followed after a stolen possession earning him two shots.
Camacho was fouled again allowing him to snatch six points working with teammate Jawn Joyner’s six points and Bon Tamayo’s two pence, 36-35.
Elgeanne Mangali and Jawn Joyner stretched Konflikt’s lead to two points, 59-57. The former brought in seven points while the latter marked eight points sealing the third quarter with a three pointer shot.
Leo Galarse’s two free-throw shots tied the game at 78 points all giving the Sonics a chance to keep their perfect record in overt time. Pedro Lizama paved the road for Galarse after garnering eight points.
Lizama and teammate Jason Bahillio’s three-pointer fade-aways saved the Sonics from Konflikts. Throughout the extra period the Konflikts remained silent accepting an 87-78 deficit.

Blue Hauz 78, Rollers Madness 74
Although the absence of point-guard Dave Sablan slowed down Blue Hauz’s usual winning rally, Denis Vinas’ six point surge in the last minute of the fourth quarter foiled the Rollers Madness during the second game of the 2nd Season QQ Car Rental Basketball League, 78-74.
Jun Tabora fired eight points during the first quarter of the game earning Blue Hauz an early 18-12 lead over the much younger Rollers Madness.
Centerman Ham Hambros marked eight points for the Rollers Madness during the second quarter while teammate Ivan De Vero fired three jumpers for six points.
This was not enough to leave Blue Hauz behind. Center player Kelvin Fitial and Daniel Mateo each shot from downtown to keep their two point lead, 35-33, at half time.
The Rollers Madness managed to catch up during the third quarter. Dominic Reyes contributed six points while teammate Ionis Rasa and Manny Matagolai shot for three pointers. At the bottom of the quarter the scores were up 88 points all.
It was a neck-and-neck game during the last quarter of the competition. But team Blue Hauz refused to let their perfect record go.
Denis Vinas achieved six points in the last thirty seconds of the game sealing the last quarter with a jumper from off the key to serve the Rollers Madness the upset of the game, 78-74.

So far in the league team Sonics and Blue Hauz remain undefeated with four wins and no losses followed by the Ferrera Builders with three wins and one loss.
Last season’s champions, team Mobil, have two wins and two losses with along with the Smart Cagers. Ali’i Konflikt has two wins and three losses; the Rollers Madness has one win and three losses.
Team Rollers Happiness and Propsects have yet to break even with 0 wins and three losses for the former and 0 wins and four losses for the latter.
