MHS 1’s Brandon Camacho broke the ice with a penalty kick 10 minutes into the second half. It wasn’t long before Mike Camacho scored their second goal.
Darren Gabrido knocked the ball off Brandon minutes later, but lost possession from Salvi Villanueva.
Brandon scored his second goal — and MHS 1’s third point — with a strong kick from the corner of the net.
Melvin Yamit hammered MHS 2’s only goal with 15 minutes left on the clock.
A quick rally from Ben Ibarra and Eddy Manalili resulted in MHS 1’s final goal of the afternoon.
Playoffs for the boys varsity soccer league will start next week, according to league organizer Glenn Smith.
