82 join 7th Jingle Bell Fun Run

Jack Kabiriel held the fastest time with 17 minutes and 25 seconds, beating Ronald Villafria (17:36) to the finish line.

Tom Linden drew the third best record with 18:02.

The annual event’s top three females were Pipit Suryaningih, who posted 22:42, Sakiko Eda (22:43), and Heather Kennedy (23:37).

Marianas High School’ Michael Mancao trailed Linden by less than a minute and finished with 18:50 to rule the top male student category. Rintaro Miyawaki and Logan Mister followed him with 21:03 and 21:32, respectively.

The female student division’s top three comprised of Conatsu Kaga (28:09), Soleil Lamar (31:19), and Karen Sato (32:45).

The race launched from the Garapan fishing basin, with runners bearing the traditional sleigh bell as they made their way to Oleai.
