Team Palau Flag Raising Ceremony at the 2009 Pacific Mini Games in Cook Islands took place on Saturday, 19th September, at 8:30 a.m. at the Rutaki School ground which also serves as the Athletes Village for both Team Palau and Team Wallis & Fatuna.
Village Chief, Tui Mataiapo Papa Teriri Tepa, addressed the assembly with a few words of welcome. In his remarks to the Palau NOC President, Frank Kyota, remarks expressed appreciation to the Village Chief for their warm hospitality and great services available to Team Palau.
