Attended by a handful of teams, the meeting that took place on Thursday, 3rd of December, managers and coaches voted for their officers. As a result, Sinton Soalablai got the position as President to lead the pack while Logan Ngiriou got the position as the Vice – President. Taking the post as Secretary / Treasurer is Lovlinson.
To create a more controlled and well-thought decision with regards to any confusion and misunderstanding a protest committee was also formed during the said assembly. Members of the committee are also composed of elected officers as well as coaches and team managers of participating teams. They are Jonathan Kaminsky, Peter Magbanua, Hamilton Maech, and Sherwin Wasai.
Addition to the appointments, the gathering also pointed out the submission of rosters in which each teams need to meet their deadline to pass their line – up by Monday, December 7 while teams are also required to have two sets of uniforms that supports light and dark colors. A team is also obliged to pay a fee of $25 in case of protesting any game.
ABL is operated under the supervision of Palau Basketball Federation where three games will be played every Mondays to Fridays and is sponsored by Shell Palau.
