Agape rules Christmas Island Relay, again

The 36th annual 13.7-mile race started at the Pacific Islands Club in San Antonio and ended at the Last Command Post in Marpi.

Agape Team A checked in at 1:25:27 to best the 15 other participating teams.

Agape principal and coach Pastor Kok H. Pang said the team members prepared for the race by running five times a week and making sure that they are involved in other sports to maintain their fitness and to be more competitive.

“I believe that besides talent, hard work is also important. So in the past four weeks, our team members had been intensely training to maintain their form,” he added.
