SUFC’s players were quick on the trigger as their constant attacks broke through just three minutes into the game, thanks to Kaithlyn Chavez. The pressure continued to overwhelm THFC which committed an error that led to scoring in its own goal to extend SUFC’s advantage, 2-0.
THFC managed to slow down the pace but could not escape the inevitable as three more goals were added by SUFC in the first half. Lillian Podziewski, Julie Hall and Pia Ngewakl joined the SUFC run, contributing a goal each to spread the gap 5-0.
More of the same was seen throughout the second half.
SUFC kept up the tempo with three more goals. This time it was Chavez who stole the show by scoring at the 24th and 28th minute marks while Ngewakl put the finishing touch to give SUFC the win, 7-0.
Kanoa Football Club 1 shared a similar story in the U15 Boys division as it brought down the MP United Football, Club 13-2.
Kanoa’s players powered their way to victory with seven goals in just the first half with Merrick Toves at the frontline with three goals while Brian Lubao took over the second half with three of his own. MP’s Dev Bachani and Dyan Mister somewhat mitigated the blowout by scoring a goal each.
In the U12 Coed Division, MP United defeated Shirley’s Football Club 5-3.
