TEAMMATES Kianu Aldan and Jaylina Borja not only led the Man Amigas to their first championship in the inaugural NMI Softball Association Women’s Softball League 2024, but also won several individual awards at the conclusion of the title match on Saturday at the Miguel “Tan Ge” Pangelinan Softball Field.
Kianu Aldan, who proved her worth at the batter’s box, earned the Most RBIs Award with 34, the Most Doubles Award with 5, the Most Triples Award with 5, and the Most Home Runs Award with 4.
For her part, Jaylina Borja had the Most Runs with 23 and the Most Singles with 16.
Leading the pitching scene was the Batties’ Jovie Omar, who recorded the most strikeouts with 52 and led in pitching with an ERA of 1.59, 64 innings pitched, and 15 earned runs.
